Earth's Celestial Companion: The Moon
Luna
As it gracefully orbits our planet, it bathes the night in its silvery glow and has played a pivotal role in shaping cultures, mythologies, and scientific exploration.
In every day, week, or month, the Moon shows up in every different phase. The moon's ever-changing phases, from the new moon to the full moon and back again, have captivated skywatchers for generations. These phases, a result of the moon's orbit around Earth, offer a mesmerizing dance of light and shadow in the night sky. Its position affects how we see the moon every time, it depends on the moon and sun's position. Each phase has its unique charm, from the ethereal beauty of a crescent moon to the radiant brilliance of a full moon illuminating the landscape.
